We believe no epilepsy patient in Iran should surrender to their illness due to financial difficulties. To support needy patients, we offer discounts on diagnosis, treatment, and medication costs within a structured framework. Additionally, a Medical Support Fund has been established, allowing benefactors to contribute donations to help cover these expenses.
A valuable program of the association is its monthly educational meetings, attended by many epilepsy patients and their families. These sessions cover various topics, provide accurate information, and address questions. They also aim to dispel myths and superstitions about epilepsy, promoting a scientific understanding of the disease.
To promote well-being, the association organizes group camps and outings at provincial and national levels each year. With additional support, these activities could be expanded further. Other activities include celebrations, publishing quarterly magazines, brochures, and educational pamphlets.
One of the association’s key goals is to help needy families, primarily by distributing food baskets and support packages with the help of benefactors. These aid efforts aim to meet basic needs like food and clothing, improving the living conditions of families affected by epilepsy.
