It directly interacts with patients, handling membership registration and forms, and communicates members’ needs to government agencies, support organizations, and local institutions. The unit collaborates with medical professionals, making referrals for ophthalmology, dentistry, labs, and other specialized services. It also organizes medical, livelihood, clothing, and other support for members, especially on special occasions, including distributing food baskets to those with limited financial means.
